I’ve got several Werner ans Louisville step and extension laddersboth in aluminum and fiberglass. So, I go to Home Depot to pick up a new 16′ extension in fiberglassI also was interested in a 8 or 10 foot step in aluminum or fiberglass. Both the Werner and Louisville brand ladders are made in Mexico. ReluctantlyI bought the Werner 16′ extension in fiberglass. I get home and check the ones I already haveALL are made in USAwith big red-white & blue stickers proclaiming the USA Made label. My only assumptionand I hate to go herethe ladders were made in the USA in the past by union laborand now the manufacturer has to send the production south of the border to keep a 200 dollar ladder from becoming a 400 dollar ladder.
